This was far more than what we expected! This home is warm, cozy and wonderful. My family loved this place so much. We walked in and felt at home. The quality of everything that is in this home is top shelf, right down to the thick fluffy towels! The bed was so comfortable I didn’t want to get up, but I had to, so I wouldn’t miss getting the fire started and sitting quietly with a cup of coffee early in the morning . Deer ran through the yard in the mornings and the huge front porch was perfect for reading a book and just unplug. Can’t wait to come back, you will be so surprised with this home! You won’t want to leave! PS-bring a lawn blanket to lay on the hill to star gaze! My grandchildren loved it!

This place was exactly what we needed when we needed it. After staying in five previous air bnbs on the same, 3 week, trip this was the last stop and we were ready to relax and rest before driving back home. We enjoyed so many relaxing spaces outside and inside! The front porch has such a pretty view as the sun was setting - we started our evenings there. The fire pit was awesome - nothing better than a smokeless fire stove with so many stars overhead. The hot tub was a great addition and we loved walking up to the field to look at the stars. We got very lucky and had beautiful nights for star gazing. No need to go to Cherry Springs whatsoever.

What a gem! This is just the perfect cabin for your stay in Potter County. We loved everything about it: the cleanliness, the bear-themed decor, the hot tub, the fire pit, and the spacious backyard for star-gazing. The cabin is well-stocked with all essentials--linens, pillows, towels, soap, washer, dryer, etc. We really appreciated how much Josh thought about all of the "little" things travelers might need as well--some snacks upon arrival, towels for the hot tub, a pack-and-play just in case, flashlights, charging ports all around the house, etc. Highly recommend!!

The Great Bear Cabin was just the escape our family needed. Josh and Laurie have the house very well stocked and labeled. Our kids especially loved the board games and oversized bean bag in the loft. We can’t wait to come back and spend more time doing all of the nearby activities that were mentioned in the Welcome Book!
